"Hubby & I love this area seafood earthy- a fixture in the community for decades- serving southern seafood- trout flounder popcorn & jumbo shrimp - oysters - & more -this place stays busy to say the least - there’s an enclosed shelter to help waiting lines of people from the elements- also security to assist with free ample parking. I had the 220 trout special- a huge fried trout baked potato and a small fresh salad- served fresh hot - crispy. Hubby had a 2 combo with trout & popcorn shrimp- equally delicious - with slaw & baked potato- Our server “Wendy” was fantastic- courteous friendly & efficient- older vintage fishermen decor- very unique. This is not a fancy place- but a family style restaurant with excellent seafood & service. Take out available. Located quite close to a Interstate I 85 North in Henderson NC- a great place to get fried or broiled seafood with reasonable prices."
